Orchid Medical Hires Amanda Gonzalez as Chief Financial OfficerOrchid Medical, a nationwide ancillary healthcare service company specializing in worker's compensation, announced today that Amanda Gonzalez has been hired as Chief Financial Officer. In this newly created position, effective April 20, Gonzalez is responsible for Orchid Medical's finance department, including strategic and tactical matters related to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding. With 12 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and managing accounting and payroll service, she led the development of the technological processes used by AM Business Solutions, working closely with clients in the implementation of outsourced accounting solutions. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, & Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida, and Master of Science in Taxation and MBA degrees from the University of Central Florida. Gonzalez has a Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship from Boston University Prior to founding AM Business Solutions, Gonzalez performed consulting projects with businesses in multiple industries focusing on operational efficiency, development of internal control procedures and improved cost controls.
