Wireless Industry Veterans Launch Kaipac InterOp Exchange To Provide Network Operations Intelligence

HOLLYWOOD, Fla., April 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Wireless industry veterans Jeff Pokonosky and Mickey Patton today announced the formation of a new specialty services company -- Kaipac -- to meet the critical needs of wireless network managers and field-service personnel who require actionable insight and Network Operations Intelligence (NOI) to optimize network health.

Kaipac delivers "Communications for the Communications industry", enabling workforce-collaboration between network operators and their vendors, streamlining the sharing of time sensitive, proprietary data related to network health and system optimization.

Pokonosky, a former Qualcomm executive and the founder of WiggleWireless, and Patton, the CEO of Clear C2, announced Kaipac's formation at The PCIA Wireless Infrastructure Show 2015 being held here this week. The company will offer what Patton and Pokonosky call "Communications for the Communications industry."

Kaipac's all-cloud-based InterOp Exchange (IOX) platform provides telecommunications and wireless operatrs, and companies within the ecosystem, with the best in class Network Operations Intelligence necessary to maintain optimum health across their networks.  InterOp Exchange aggregates, collates and transmits data over a secure network, enabling companies to collaborate remotely on preventive maintenance tasks, work orders and trouble tickets.

Kaipac's IOX streamlines data sharing and workforce-collaboration communications between network operators and their vendors, enabling the sharing of time sensitive, proprietary data related to network health and system optimization.

"We're closing a communications gap between manufacturers, vendors, operators and integrators," said Pokonosky, Kaipac's CEO. "We accomplish that by offering a solution that provides secure access to the proper information set needed to cure network problems by fostering near real-time communications between all parties."

"Today, fixed line and wireless operators work with many suppliers who deliver hardware, software and services that keep the networks running.  In too many situations, when a problem occurs in the field, the truck roll is the first action taken, and it's an expensive one," he said.

"Industry attention is on reducing capital expense. Yet, at the same time, we see costly communications delays between operators, integrators, services providers and vendors of disparate systems which directly impacts the bottom line," Pokonosky said.  "Kaipac's IOX solution provides everyone in the ecosystem the critical information they need to, more efficiently, maintain optimum network health."
