USMD Brings World-Class, Patient-Centric Cancer Care to Texarkana, Texas

(NASDAQ: USMD), a physician-led integrated healthcare system, announced today its wholly owned subsidiary, USMD Cancer Treatment Centers, has opened a new cancer treatment center in Texarkana, Texas. The new Collom & Carney Cancer Treatment Center opens in partnership with Collom & Carney Clinic Association and is located on the campus of Wadley Regional Medical Center.

The Collom & Carney Cancer Treatment Center is a comprehensive radiation therapy facility that offers patients access to state-of-the art cancer care, including the latest Varian Medical Systems technology, TrueBeam, one of the most advanced radiotherapy technologies in the world for treating cancer. The Collom & Carney Cancer Treatment Center in Texarkana is the first center in this area to utilize True Beam technology to treat patients. The Center also provides patients with Siemens (News - Alert) CT for treatment planning, cutting-edge equipment and exceptional, personalized patient care, which keeps the focus on putting patients' needs and well-being first.
