TNS Expands P2PE Portfolio with Support for Ingenico Group's on-Guard Solution

Transaction Network Services (TNS (News - Alert)) is giving processors and merchants an enhanced choice of point-to-point encryption technology by augmenting its Managed POS Encryption portfolio with the addition of Ingenico Group's On-Guard solution.

TNS' Managed POS Encryption, which was launched in 2010 and covers several terminal and hardware agnostic encryption solutions, helps merchants to protect sensitive customer information by eliminating the transmission of 'clear' cardholder data from the merchant environment.

TNS' Managed POS Encryption protects data from the point-of-sale terminal through to the payment acquirer or processor, utilizing ultiple high-capacity decryption gateways located within geographically diverse data centers and supported by dynamic alternate routing capabilities. Merchants can benefit from limited up-front capital expense and can also eliminate the need to commit to any ongoing personnel, management or maintenance resources.
