AdaptiveMobile to Reveal Sophisticated Banking Scams at RSA Conference Showing How Cybercriminals Are Threatening US Banks

AdaptiveMobile (News - Alert), the leader in mobile security, will be revealing at the forthcoming RSA Conference unique intelligence on previously unseen mobile attacks impacting financial institutions within the United States. In advance of the conference, AdaptiveMobile is revealing industry-first visualizations showing how these attacks are targeting regional banks across the country.

The visualizations clearly demonstrate the solar-flare-like patterns of regional bank attacks, which show how local bank customers are being scammed by the heavy use of local cell numbers to perpetrate attacks. This is one of the first times that an attack of this sort has been represented visually, and it provides powerful insight into the changing patterns and methods of cybercriminals.

Researchers at AdaptiveMobile have been tracking and blocking criminal activity around messaging bank fraud alerts and will be sharing an in-depth look of this intelligence with the broader security community at the RSA (News - Alert) Conference. In his session, Cathal Mc Daid, the head of data intelligence and analytics at AdaptiveMobile, will show the actual attack patterns of criminal gang activity using these attacks across the United States.
