TCL Launches Curved H8800 Series Equipped With S-level Harman/Kardon Speakers

Chinese TV manufacturer TCL recently introduced its H8800 series, including the QD model based on the quantum dot display technology, the Ultimate model equipped with S-level Harman/Kardon speakers, the larger-sized Superior model and the full HD Elegant model. Representing the highest technical level of today's curved TVs and regarded as the most anticipated curved series of the year, the Curved H8800 series boasts the largest curvature ever of 4000R, innovative high color gamut technology for curved surfaces, the leading 4K curved surface technology, and S-level Harman/Kardon speakers to provide an unparalleled immersive experience in curvature, color, definition and sound.

"It is the immersive experience that distinguishes curved TVs from other TV products," said E Hao, CEO of TCL Multimedia. The Curved H8800 series is different because it broke several bottlenecks to provide the world's best immersive experience. And Hao attributed the result to TCL's capability to build a vertical supply chain, which cannot have been achieved without a curvature of 4000R, a 110%/96% NTSC (for the QD model/for other models) color gamut coverage, an authentic 3840*2160 4K screen, and the up-to-5.5L and 50W S-level Harman/Kardon speakers.

The S-level Harman/Kardon speakers tailored for H8800 are accountable for the unprecedented immersive experience in sound. As the world's first S-level Harman/Kardon speakers for curved surfaces, they boast an up-to-5.5L volume, which is more than 10 times larger than other TV models' 0.4L, and a power of 50W, compared 16W of other TV models. Besides, they also employed 11 innovative designs including the crescent surround design, the long-stroke and full-range structure design, the 7° angle design and the vertical bass design to avoid sound diffraction, which guarantees the perfect performance of the speakers and the best sound experience for the users.
