It was a particularly meaningful victory for Piquet as it was on this track that his father had his first Formula One win 35 years ago. The win moves China Racing into fifth place in the team standings, and pushes Piquet into second place in the individual driver standings. Team China Racing is the first national racing team authorized by the Ministry of Sports of China.
