Mr LiaBraaten will be responsible for TNS' global revenues across its unique telecommunications product portfolio, including roaming and clearing, signaling (SS7 and IP), big data driven solutions, risk and fraud mitigation, mobility applications, messaging and identity management, such as the Cequint and TNSVerify product lines. Mr LiaBraaten and his team also manage the channel ecosystem while identifying and nurturing synergistic partnerships.

Joe Lueckenhoff, Executive Vice President and General Manager of TNS' Telecommunication Services Division, said "Clayton brings in-depth experience, has a proven track record and has close working relationships with executives across the telecom, media, internet and technology space. His contagious drive, determination and keen industry knowledge will help ensure we remain focused on our partners' current and future requirements. Clayton's rich heritage gained from working with and for many service providers, vendor and professional services businesses is a perfect fit at an opportune time for TNS."

Prior to joining TNS, Mr LiaBraaten managed new business development for Cartesian, a global professional services and strategy firm focused in the telecommunications, media and technology (TMT) sectors.

Mike Keegan, Chief Executive Officer at TNS, said: "We are excited to bring Clayton on board and are confident that his bias for action, innovation and disruption as well as his infectious passion for service and customer experience will result in strong growth and expansion of our Telecommunication Services Division."

In addition to his most recent role, Mr LiaBraaten has also held operational and client facing executive positions at Telepath Systems/PSINet, Cox (News - Alert) Communications, InfoNXX, TARGUSinfo and Neustar. Over the last decade Clayton and his teams have sold, delivered and serviced well over $1B in value added services to the communications industry. Mr LiaBraaten also served for 8 years as an operational intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance professional with the USAF's Air Intelligence Agency.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr LiaBraaten said: "The communications industry is facing an unprecedented period of modernization, consolidation and upheaval. TNS is in the sweet spot to lead transformative initiatives in some of the hottest 21st century technologies - big data, LTE (News - Alert) 4/5G, IP conversion, identity services and mobility/Internet of Things. I can't wait to work with our team and partners to leverage our core assets and synthesize new ones to create immediate and lasting value for our Telecommunication Services Division and our customers. Simply put, it's a target rich environment, and we are on the offensive."

Since its inception in 1995, TNS' Telecommunication Services Division has expanded to address the full needs of wireless and wireline operators in the US and globally.
