Land O'Lakes, Inc., Ree Drummond Team Up for Pin A Meal, Give A Meal

ARDEN HILLS, Minn., March 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Land O'Lakes and Ree Drummond, also known as The Pioneer Woman, are partnering to host a live online cooking event as part of the 2015 Pin A Meal, Give A Meal Pinterest campaign. This new addition to the campaign will provide easy springtime recipes, including a new signature recipe from Drummond– Chicken Broccolini with Mustard Cream Sauce. Drummond, along with Land O'Lakes' Test Kitchen director Becky Wahlund, will share the latest tips and tricks for cooking up new spring recipes and discuss how everyone can support the one in six people struggling with hunger in the U.S.

This year's new online event gives viewers a unique opportunity to engage in the conversation. During the event, viewers can ask questions for the hosts using #PinAMeal. And as an added bonus, every recipe pinned on April 1 will count double ($2.00 per pin) toward our goal of 350,000 pins to provide 3.5 million meals. Those who can't attend can visit Pinterest to pin recipes of their choosing.

In just three weeks, the campaign has generated more than 114,000 recipe pins. For every recipe pinned, the Land O'Lakes Foundation will donate $1 for a guaranteed maximum of $350,000 to Feeding America®.
