BBC Captures and Analyzes Performance Data with ZenossZenoss Inc., the leading provider of unified monitoring and analytics solutions for physical, virtual, and cloud-based IT infrastructure and applications, today announced the British Broadcasting Corporation's (BBC's) Future Media Group (FM) a publicly owned corporation, has been a Zenoss customer since June, 2009, utilizing Service Dynamics Resource Manager, the enterprise product suite to monitor data. BBC was a Core user prior to the transition to the enterprise offering. In addition, they are evaluating Zenoss Service Dynamics 5 to provide service level monitoring in addition to the current data collection and infrastructure monitoring of approximately a million data points across its infrastructure. "Zenoss is our centralized source to capture and analyze approximately 1 million data points every five minutes reflecting availability and performance for BBC Online (BBC content delivered over IP)," states Shani Mashhood, Head of Monitoring at the British Broadcasting Corporation. "The Future Media Group within BBC is responsible for all of the BBC's digital media services and we are looking to create dashboards from the performance data collected through Zenoss for all of our major offerings."
