MobileBench Consortium Releases New Benchmarking Tool - on Google PlayMobileBench, a consortium of leading companies in the mobile industry dedicated to the development of easy-to-use performance assessment tools for smartphones and tablets worldwide, announces that its first benchmark is now available on Google Play*. The MobileBench Consortium members include HP*, Huawei*, Intel*, Marvell (News - Alert)*, OPPO*, Samsung Electronics*, SanDisk*, Spreadtrum*, Tektronix* and Vivo Communication*. The consortium was inaugurated in Shenzhen, China, in 2013. MobileBench is an alternative to non-professional benchmarking tools for Android (News - Alert)* smartphones and tablets. It provides consumers as well as product reviewers, performance engineers, procurement officers and IT managers with a thorough, standardized analysis of the overall performance of a mobile device through processor, memory, storage, graphics and user interface stress tests.
