SirionLabs Enhances Customer Data Security with ISO 27001:2013 and EU Safe Harbor Certifications

SirionLabs, the premier SaaS (News - Alert) provider of post-signature supplier management technology for buyers of complex services, today announced that the company has successfully completed the certification process for two distinguished security standards - ISO 27001:2013 and United States-European Union Safe Harbor. Attaining these certifications demonstrates SirionLabs' commitment to implementing globally recognized security standards and procedures and ensuring the highest level of protection for customer data.

ISO 27001:2013 is the latest edition of the ISO/IEC (News - Alert) 27001 Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) standard and SirionLabs is amongst the first few cloud based providers to have secured this stringent and widely recognized security certification. SirionLabs has been ISO 27001:2005 compliant from last year.

The U.S.-U Safe Harbor Framework provides guidance for U.S. organizations on ensuring adequate protection for personal data from the EU as required by the European Union's Directive on Data Protection. With this certification SirionLabs is well-equipped to meet the stringent security and privacy requirements of the EU Data Protection Regulation.

"Building a secure operating environment to ensure information security and privacy of customer data is core to our business strategy. Our security certifications represent a significant step forward in this direction and strengthen our ability to meet the expectations of our global fortune client-base," said SirionLabs' founder and CEO Ajay Agrawal.
