Openwave Messaging Announces Executive Appointments

Openwave Messaging Inc., the market-leading, and premier partner to service providers for messaging, communication and security solutions, today announced two recent appointments to its executive team. Lokdeep Singh has been appointed Chief Product Officer and Jay Seaton has been appointed Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.

Lokdeep Singh assumes responsibility for product management and corporate strategy, ensuring that Openwave (News - Alert) Messaging continues to lead the Service Provider messaging market. Jay Seaton is responsible for overseeing and driving Openwave's brand and market position, including the development of strategic relationships.

Singh brings an extensive experience within the Telecom sector delivering innovative and highly scalable software solutions. Prior to joining Openwave he was Chief Innovation Officer at Syniverse (News - Alert) with global responsibility for new business revenue generation, where he established a successful model of innovation. He joined Syniverse as part of the acquisition of MACH (News - Alert), where he served as CTO and spearheaded a transformation of the MACH portfolio to become a cloud based, cross-market managed service provider.

Seaton has deep experience developing worldwide marketing teams and programs with particular emphasis on messaging, cloud and security solutions for Service Providers. Prior to joining Openwave Messaging, he served as Chief Marketing Officer for GlassHouse Technologies, a global cloud and managed services provider. Previously, he was CMO for Airwide Solutions, a leading provider of messaging software to Service Providers.
