Coriant Announces Resolution of Tellabs-Related Litigation against Fujitsu Limited


Coriant, a global supplier of SDN-enabled end-to-end transport solutions, today announced the resolution of Tellabs (News - Alert)-related litigation pending in the Northern District of Illinois with Fujitsu Limited ("Fujitsu") involving a number of patents and other intellectual property-related claims. Tellabs was acquired in December 2013 by Marlin Equity Partners, a global investment firm. In January 2014, the Tellabs packet optical product portfolio was merged under the Coriant brand, while the Tellabs access product portfolio was established as an independent business.

The parties have now resolved all of their pending claims, counterclaims and appeals against each other, in a confidential settlement agreement. The stipulations of dismissal will be filed in the trial and appellate courts.
