EFT Source Demoing EMV-Ready Instant Issuance Solution at BAI Payments Connect 2015

EFT Source, a CPI Card Group company and provider of turnkey card programs and personalization services for ATM and debit cards to financial institutions, announced that it will showcase its EMV-capable instant issuance solution, Card@Once®, at BAI (News - Alert) Payments Connect's Innovation Demos on Tuesday, March 3, 2015. The all-day event showcases the most cutting-edge technologies being developed within today's payments landscape.

For financial institutions, the ability to quickly deliver new and replacement debit cards is critical for maximizing customer engagement and satisfaction. Traditionally, the delay in card delivery, which could take up to two weeks, posed an inconvenience to both the cardholder and the financial institution. This inconvenience has been compounded by the recent influx in data breaches, increasing the impotance of emergency card replacement to reduce the initial cost of fraud, as well as minimize damage to the relationship between financial institutions and affected customers.

EFT Source's (News - Alert) patented instant issuance solution, Card@Once, provides the immediate delivery of debit, credit, and pre-paid cards on-site. When a customer requests a new or replacement card, the data is securely transferred from the branch location to EFT Source where it is processed into an encrypted print and returned electronically. Card@Once then encodes the data and prints the card, allowing the customer to walk away with a ready-to-use, permanent payment card. Card@Once is also equipped to issue EMV-enabled cards within the branch environment, enabling financial institutions to deliver chip cards within seconds, once their respective EMV programs are complete.

"Delivery, security, and personalization are key dynamics of payment cards and are of major significance in today's environment. These factors directly influence one of the industry's core values, which is to continuously strengthen relationships with customers through innovation," said Bill Dinker, president of EFT Source. "We're excited to participate at BAI Payments Connect and be recognized as a leader alongside many other deserving and forward-thinking companies."
