GoDISH.com Launches Nationwide "Core Values" Scholarship ProgramHOUSTON, Feb. 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- As students begin to hear about their acceptance to the college of their choice, the reality of increased tuitions have hit hard for families all across the country. GoDISH.com, a leading Houston based retailer of Dish Network Satellite TV, announced today that they are launching a "Core Values" Scholarship Program, which will grant a winner with a one-time prize of $1,000 that can be applied to eligible education-related expenses incurred during the 2015-2016 academic year. "Values are an essential part of any society, person, and business," states Damon Diamantaras, GoDISH.com's CEO. "At GoDISH.com, we abide by 7 core values that not only help our company run efficiently, but also make us a valuable member of the community and society as a whole. The Scholarship is called 'Core Values' to generate awareness in the student community about the growing interest in mixing those values with social media." GoDish.com is looking for entries in the form of a blog answeing the question "Which of these 7 core values are most important to you and why?: ACCOUNTABILITY, COMMUNITY, EASY TO DO BUSINESS WITH, INTEGRITY, EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION, INNOVATION, or TEAMWORK." Blogs must be a minimum of 300 words in length, not to exceed 500 words. The GoDISH.com 2015 "Core Values" Scholarship contest is open to qualified applicants who are a citizen or legal resident of the United States, a senior in high school, or a home school student with an anticipated summer 2015 graduation or GED completion. Applicants must have completed SAT or ACT testing, and must ultimately enroll full-time at an accredited college or university in the United States or its territories for the 2015-2016 academic year. A panel of GoDISH.com judges, following the submission deadline of 4/30/2015, will choose the winning blog post. Entries will be evaluated on overall insight, creativity, writing skill, and relevance. Winners will be contacted directly and announced by GoDISH no later than 5/30/2015 and announced via various online and social media platforms.
