E la Carte Named One of Fast Company's World's 50 Most Innovative Companies

E la Carte, pioneers in Smart Dining™ and creators of the Presto™ Tablet for restaurants, today announced it has been named by Fast Company as one of the magazine's World's 50 Most Innovative Companies for 2015.

Following several months gathering data on the best in business from around the world, Fast Company's editorial team selected the most innovative companies in areas of revenue growth and profit margins, also noting progressive, sustainable business models and creativity. Of the 50 companies recognized by Fast Company in 2015, E la Carte ranked number 26.

"We could not be more honored that E la Carte's innovative approach using technology to transform the restaurant industry and enhance the guest experience has been recognized by Fast Company," said Rajat Suri, Founder and CEO of E la Carte. "This award places E la Carte alongside businesses worldwide that are fearlessly innovating and leading the way to the future. The recognition is a testament to our hard work and success thus far, and we look forward to continuing our efforts to elevate Smart Dining to the next level."

Previous companies making Fast Company's Most Innovative list include Google, Apple (News - Alert), Uber, Square, Yelp and SodaStream.

Currently, E la Carte's restaurant partners include Applebee's, Genghis Gill and Johnny Rockets, with Presto tablets already deployed nationwide. Guests using the Presto tablet can quickly browse full menus with photos, place orders, play a wide variety of games, and pay their bill quickly directly on the tablet. Guests can also easily split checks and redeem gift cards without waiting for assistance from the server. In addition, the Presto tablet enables servers to focus on higher-value activities and spend more time on quality interaction with customers.

Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies issue (March 2015) is on newsstands February 15 and available online at www.fastcompany.com/MIC. This feature in Fast Company highlights E la Carte's innovative restaurant technology that empowers guests to control how and when they order food and pay their bills.
