Knoxville, Tennessee, Streamlines Government Services With Accela

Knoxville is implementing Accela Asset Management, Accela Service Request and Accela Code Enforcement running on the Accela Civic Platform to build a more efficient, collaborative government that better serves its residents.

The City of Knoxville is committed to providing an open, transparent government and great city services to its more than 182,000 residents. In order to strengthen its citizen engagement, it is using the Accela Civic Platform as the foundation of an integrated digital system designed to coordinate multiple departments, save money, and better track 311 and other work requests.

As part of the Accela Civic Platform, the City of Knoxville will benefit from the following solutions:

  • Accela Asset Management - Tracks and manages service requests, work orders, condition assessments and resource, providing an automated solution for costing, inventory, maintenance, investigations and inspections. All activities are captured in a single database, allowing coordination between departments while maintaining departmental autonomy.
  • Accela Service Request - Automates and manages interdepartmental or citizen requests for service, complaints or injuries.
  • Accela Code Enforcement - Empowers code officers and manages cases in the field with GIS scheduling, mobile case management and access, and citizen feedback.
