Avnet Technology Solutions Expands Networking Offerings with Brocade in Mexico

Avnet Technology Solutions, the global IT solutions distribution leader and an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), has expanded its distribution agreement with Brocade (News - Alert)^® to include Mexico. Avnet will furnish its solution provider partners with Brocade technology, including products for networking solutions related to cloud computing, consolidation, network convergence and virtualization.

Avnet is one of the world's largest Brocade distributors, and the two companies have collaborated for eight years to grow the Brocade channel and help partners provide their customers with networking solutions to efficiently manage their IT environments. In addition to Mexico, Avnet distributes Brocade solutions in more than 15 countries in Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and North America.
