Gastrointestinal Cancer Key Opinion Leader, Charles S. Fuchs, MD, MPH Joins, Enterade's Scientific Advisory BoardEnterade USA, an innovative health sciences company, announced today that Charles S. Fuchs, MD, MPH has joined as a member of the Company's esteemed Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Fuchs is an internationally recognized expert in gastrointestinal oncology and he currently serves as the Chief of the Gastrointestinal Oncology Division at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and the Robert T. and Judith B. Hale Chair in Pancreatic Cancer. "It is an honor and a privilege to welcome Dr. Fuchs to Enterade's Scientific Advisory Board," commented Stephen J. Dr. Fuchs splits his time between laboratory-based research, clinical research, and clinical care. Dr. Fuchs leads the Dana-Farber Harvard Cancer Center (DF/HCC) Gastrointestinal Malignancies Program and the DF/HCC SPORE Grant in Gastrointestinal Cancers. He has also served as the extramural leader for the NCI-sponsored Genome-Wide Association Study in Pancreatic Cancer (PanScan). Dr. Fuchs' laboratory focuses on the role of nutrition in cancer risk and survival, biochemical and molecular predictors of cancer prognosis, and the discovery o novel targets for cancer therapy. Dr. Fuchs has led numerous national and international clinical trials assessing novel targeted therapies for GI malignancies. Dr. Fuchs is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer and a member of National Cancer Institute GI Cancer Steering Committee. Dr. Fuchs has over 450 scientific publications in such journals as The New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of the American Medical Association, Lancet, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Cell, and Nature. Dr. Fuchs graduated honors, summa cum laude with his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Fuchs earned his medical degree from the Harvard Medical School and his master's degree in Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health.
