AlphaCipher Appoints Mr. John Wobensmith Vice Chairman of Its Board of Directors


AlphaCipher Acquisition Corporation (d/b/a "Vadium") (the "Company") today announced it has appointed Mr. John Wobensmith as Vice Chairman of its Board of Directors. In the 40 years Mr. Wobensmith has worked in the national intelligence, he was the recipient of the National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal, and during the Reagan administration he served as Chief of Staff for the Communications and Computer Security Organization at the National Security Agency (News - Alert), working directly with the White House in reviewing, protecting and securing White House and Presidential communications. Mr. Wobensmith's specialized knowledge and experience will help Vadium navigate the growth of business into key organizations and markets and deliver the permanent security solutions needed to enable worldwide customers to safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of digital content.

About Mr. John Wobensmith

Mr. John Wobensmith has over 40 years of experience in the national security field, specializing in intelligence, emergency operations, communications and computer security, and as technical, legislative, diplomatic and corporate liaison. During the Reagan administration, Mr. Wobensmith was Chief of Staff for the Communications and Computer Security Organization at the National Security Agency, in which capacity he worked directly with the White House in reviewing, protecting and securing White House and Presidential communications. From 1991 to 1993, Mr. Wobensmith supported the White House in the field of emergency operations as the Deputy Director of the Office of Emergency Operations (Senior Executive Service, SES (News - Alert)-4). He received the Secretary of Defense Meritorious Civilian Service Award for this work. From 1993 to 1997, Mr. Wobensmith managed the U.S. Department of Defense Technical Liaison Office in Ankara, Turkey. He retired from the U.S. Government in July 1997 and is a recipient of the National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal.
