Vitesse Broadens Signal Integrity Portfolio For High Speed Data Transmission


Vitesse Semiconductor Corporation (Nasdaq: VTSS), a leading provider of IC solutions to advance "Ethernet Everywhere" in Carrier, Enterprise and Internet of Things (IoT) networks, introduced the VSC7112, an 8.5G quad channel signal conditioner targeted at the expanding PCIe 3.0 market. Building on the reliability and success of Vitesse's signal integrity IC portfolio with proven FlexEQ™ adaptive equalization technology, the VSC7112 enables the industry's lowest BOM cost solution for PCIe Gen 3.0 repeater applications, offering 20% savings over competitive options. The VSC7112 is ideal for solving signal integrity challenges as the PCIe protocol expands beyond consumer peripherals into blade servers, Enterprise storage, and cloud computing.
