Oceus Networks Names Jeff Harman as COO and Kevin Stiles as CTO


Oceus Networks Inc., the market leader in delivering mobile 4G LTE (News - Alert) broadband networking solutions, announced today that it has named Jeff Harman as Chief Operating Officer and Kevin Stiles as Chief Technology Officer. As COO, Harman will oversee execution of the company's strategic plan and provide operational leadership to enable continued growth and success of the company. As CTO, Stiles will be responsible for the company's product development, solutions customization, and systems integration services.

Mr. Harman joined Oceus Networks in March of 2013 as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the DOD Solutions Business Group and has been responsible for driving growth with direct oversight of program execution, solutions, and competency development across both the DOD tactical and enterprise environments. Prior to Oceus Networks, Harman had accrued over 22 years of industry experience in the delivery and management of technology systems, networks, and services across the Federal Government. He previously worked for CACI International as a Senir Vice President Operating Group Manager, directly managing over $200M in annual revenue with clients in the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), the United States Combatant Commands, the U.S. Navy, and the Department of Homeland Security. While at CACI, Mr. Harman was responsible for the Enterprise IT Services and Solution core competency and was the developer of the CACI IT Service Management framework. Before CACI, Mr. Harman held leadership positions for Teaming Associates, BBN, and GSI. Mr. Harman served in the U.S. Air Force prior to joining GSI and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems.



In his new role as CTO, Mr. Stiles will lead an engineering team focused on the development of secure and scalable 4th Generation (4G) Long Term Evolution (LTE) products, and the integration and delivery of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products into customized solutions, including product certifications and accreditations. Mr. Stiles brings over 24-years of experience in telecommunications and government contracting and has been heavily involved in the areas of Research and Development, Service Delivery, and Systems Integration over his career. Prior to his current role as CTO, Stiles served as Vice President of Engineering at Oceus Networks and was responsible for bringing to market Oceus Networks' award winning Xiphos™ product line, a family of scalable and secure 4G LTE products, as well as the Oceus Networks ONmission™ software suite. Before joining Oceus Networks, Stiles was Vice President of Ericsson (News - Alert) Federal where he was responsible for the site design and delivery of the Ericsson components for a Department of Defense satellite program. As part of Research and Development for Ericsson, he was also responsible for the design, development, and deployment of some of the first IP Multimedia Subsystems (IMS) in North America, including the first core components of Ericsson's IMS products. Stiles holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and is based out of Oceus Networks' Plano, Texas office.
