New Independent Study Shows Total Economic Impact of Mocana Atlas Platform

Mocana today announced that a new commissioned Total Economic Impact (TEI) study conducted by Forrester (News - Alert) Consulting shows the economic impact that the Mocana Atlas™ platform can have on an enterprise's productivity by significantly increasing mobile app usage by end users. According to the Forrester study, the Mocana (News - Alert) Atlas platform enabled a Mocana enterprise customer-a US-based product-manufacturing firm with a global presence-to achieve a three-year, risk-adjusted ROI of 335 percent, primarily through productivity gains, with a payback period of less than two months.

The key risk-adjusted benefits highlighted in the Forrester TEI study include:

• User productivity improvements: All mobile users, and in particular "mobile power users" (primarily sales representatives) save significant time by taking advantage of mobile apps enabled by the Mocana Atlas platform.
• Additional mobile sales productivity improvements: Mobile power users gain an additional benefit by reducing the time required to securely replace and recover from lost PIN codes.
• Sales improvements: While too recent to be estimated, the organization has started to see and expects to continue to see an improvement in sales due to improved mobile app usage.
• Reduced penetration testing costs: With the Mocana Mobile App Protection (MAP) wrapping component of the Atlas platform configured and tested for the first app, many similar apps avoid additional penetration testing.
• Improved application time to market, leading to additional revenue and cost savings: Managing app security after development is done, and reducing the amount of penetration testing that is required, means that apps can be delivered to end users faster.
