Internet of Things Brought to Life by Freescale at 2014 Austin Trail of LightsAt the 2014 Austin Trail of Lights, Freescale Semiconductor (News - Alert) is bringing to life the power of connected technology with the new and improved Tiny Town display. To celebrate the 50th season of Trail of Lights, Freescale collaborated with local Austin organizations such as Blue Frog School of Music, Girlstart, and robotics teams from Westlake High School and Austin Liberal Arts and Science Academy (LASA) to revamp Tiny Town and provide students with hands-on projects to build critical science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) skills. Freescale employees reinvigorated the 30-year-old Tiny Town, making it the Trail of Lights' first interactive display.
