C3 Energy Reports Record Midyear Performance

C3 Energy announced today results from the first half of its fiscal year ending March 2015, including increased bookings of more than 200 percent, product deployment outcomes exceeding 150 percent of customer targets, and new products launched to address utilities' most critical challenges.

Importantly, less than 18 months after its initial product announcement, the C3 (News - Alert) Energy analytics platform is now being installed at 20 major utilities, addressing more than 52 million smart meters. These installations collectively exceed 40 percent of the smart meters currently installed in the world, excluding China. These smart grid analytics applications include: C3 AMI Operations™, C3 Revenue Protection™, C3 Predictive Maintenance™, C3 Energy Intelligence™, C3 Customer Segmentation & Targeting™, C3 Platform s a Service™, and the C3 Energy customer engagement and energy efficiency solutions for residential, small business, and commercial customers.

From April to September 2014, C3 Energy increased bookings, as defined by irrevocable contracts, by more than 200 percent compared to the same period of the prior year. These bookings include new, renewal, and expansion contracts with many of the leading utilities across North America and Europe, including Commonwealth Edison, Baltimore Gas and Electric, Enel, Endesa, Exelon, GDF SUEZ, Hydro-Québec, Northeast Utilities, Pacific Gas and Electric, Citizens Utility Board of Illinois, Westar Energy, and others. With these contracts, C3 Energy has established a global market-leading position in smart grid analytics.

To support the growing needs of its customer base and expanding product line, C3 Energy substantially increased headcount including software implementation, engineering, machine learning, and sales professionals and expanded to include five locations across the United States, in addition to Europe and Asia including France, Italy, China, and Japan.
