Foundation for Chiropractic Progress to Participate at 2014 IHC Forum West

The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about the value of chiropractic care, will sponsor Ross M. Miller, M.D., M.P.H., Medical Executive, Cerner (News - Alert) Corporation, and Sherry D. McAllister, M.S. (Ed), D.C., McAllister Chiropractic, as speakers at the 2014 Institute for HealthCare Consumerism Forum West (IHC FORUM West), November 10-12, 2014, in Las Vegas, Nevada. On November 11, 2014, 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., the F4CP will support the workshop, "Trends Review: Outcomes-based Strategies that Lower Costs, Improve Satisfaction and Increase Productivity," which will host a discussion about the advantages of evidence-based treatment options for efficient management of common costly health conditions.

"We are pleased to present and discuss the latest evidence round complementary treatment options, such as chiropractic care, for musculoskeletal conditions," shares Drs. McAllister and Miller in a joint statement. Highlighted during the workshop will be Dr. Miller's latest research entitled: "Impact of Chiropractic Services at an On-Site Health Center," which concludes that on-site chiropractic services are associated with lower overall healthcare utilization and lower subsequent costs when compared to off-site services. The report follows an earlier study, "Value of Chiropractic Services at On-site Health Centers," which found similar advancements, plus improved functional status of musculoskeletal conditions, linked with on-site chiropractic care.

F4CP representative, Laura Carabello, is pleased to have Drs. McAllister and Miller present at the upcoming event, stating, "Both presenters are seasoned experts in the area of outcomes-based strategies.
