Nuance Brings Leading Voice Technologies to Developers at the 2014 Samsung Developer ConferenceBURLINGTON, Mass. --(Business Wire)-- Nuance Communications (News - Alert), Inc. (NASDAQ: NUAN) expands its support for the Samsung mobile application ecosystem at the 2014 Samsung Developer Conference, November 11-13th at Moscone West in San Francisco. Nuance provides Samsung (News - Alert) developers with expertise, tools, and resources for bringing an intelligent voice experience to an expanding range of Samsung applications and devices. As part of its presence at the event, Nuance will be hosting instructional workshops and presentations for Samsung developers, and showcasing the latest voice and natural language innovations for wearable devices, mobile applications and the connected home. Throughout the week, members of Nuance's Mobile design and innovation teams will be sharing expertise with developers in the areas of voice, natural language and user interface design for wearables and other connected devices during the following presentations and educational workshops:

In addition to providing developers with tools and strategies for voice-enabling applications, Nuance will be demonstrating new innovations in personal assistant experiences for wearables, including the latest Samsung Gear S. Specifically, Nuance will be showcasing two apps designed for Gear S and Gear 2 that leverage the Nuance NDEV developer program SDK - Travel Translator and POI Nearby, which are both featured as part of the Top 10 apps in the 2014 Samsung Gear App Challenge. Nuance will also be demonstrating its prototype personal assistant experience for wearables that controls lighting in the connected home. Further, Nuance is continuing to offer Samsung developers special access to key tools and features for voice-enabling a broader range of applications through the NDEV Early Access Program.
