Spotify's Sung to lead Xiaomi product development - report [New Vision (Uganda)](New Vision (Uganda) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has appointed Donovan Sung to head its international product development team in a role based out of Beijing, TechCrunch reports, without citing sources. On his Facebook account, Sung confirmed he left Spotify to start a new career chapter. Most recently, Sung was Spotify's first product manager in the US. Before that, he served as partner product manager of YouTube Music. Formerly, Sung worked at Google, Microsoft and IBM. Sung will take over his new role at Xiaomi in the second week of November.
