Google Plus Creates Movie for Your Good Times

(AllAfrica Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Google plus has a new feature -- Stories. It is a new way to relive and share your memories, trips and adventures. Stories automatically feature your best photos and videos in a timeline and show the highlights of your trip or event. You can browse them chronologically, edit, add captions and share with anyone.

The beauty of this new feature is that you don't have to lift a finger. Stories automatically curate your photos and videos. No need to sort through hundreds of shots to pick the best ones.

Stories also uses landmark detection, geo-tags from your photos and location history to incorporate maps of your travels, hotel information, restaurants and landmarks you visited, creating a rich timeline of your experience. After uploading your photos to Google plus, it won't be long before are notified if a Story was created for you. All Stories are private until you're ready to share them.

Google Kenya organised a day of adventure for a select number of fourth estate members. They visited David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, KICC Rooftop and the Nairobi City Park in a day and documented the thrilling visits by taking photos using the new LG Nexus devices.

The group enhanced their experiences by using other applications such as Field Trip, which allows you to plan your trip by showing you the key locations such as hotels, recreation grounds, roads and or resources along your route. This will definitely make your story interesting as you will not miss any spot, destination or landmark in your story.

What's more, the Google Plus Photos has a host of features that allow you to enhance your photos and manage them so as to achieve a memorable experience. For example, you can add special effects on your photos and videos by using Auto Awesome, which allows you to use special effects, like falling snow or Graphic Interchange Format (GIF) animations. With Google plus Photos, some of these may be automatically added to your photos.

If you have an Android device, you can choose to add some of the effects to any photos you choose. If you are worried about the security and privacy of your photos in the cloud, Google assures of complete encryption that lets only you and those you allow access the photos in your drive. Remember, you can only enjoy this if you have a Gmail account or if you use the Google apps for business.

With Google plus stories, you will always have a story to tell. All you need to do is capture your moments in photos and video and you are good to go.
