IPC Names New Executive Director in Chicago


NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. --(Business Wire)--

IPC (News - Alert) The Hospitalist Company, Inc. (Nasdaq: IPCM), a leading national hospital medicine and post-acute physician group practice company, announced today that it has appointed Jennifer Miraglia to the position of Executive Director for its Chicago region.

"Jennifer's broad healthcare leadership experience, extensive operations background, and strategic planning abilities will bring valuable expertise to IPC's clients in the acute care hospitals and post-acute facilities we serve," said Glenn Appelbaum, the company's Senior Vice President of Operations. Most recently, Miraglia served as the Regional Vice-President of Operations for RehabCare, a division of Kindred Healthcare, where she had responsibility for over 60 sites of operations in 14 states. Miraglia earned her Bachelor's degree in Science from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She also earned a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Marquette University and her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Wayne State College, Wayne, Nebraska.
