Embratel Star One to launch its new satellite in July 2015 [New Vision (Uganda)](New Vision (Uganda) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Embratel Star One expects to launch its new Ku-band satellite, Star One C4, in July 2015, citing Claro Brasil president Carlos Zenteno. Both Embratel and Claro Brasil are owned by Mexican telecoms firm America Movil. The C4, still under development, required investments of USD 321 million and will help in expanding the coverage of the group's DTH operation, Claro HDTV, not only in Brazil but also in Spanish-speaking countries where the America Movil group is active.
