(NYSE MKT:HRT), announced today it has appointed medical device industry professional Albert (Bert) McGrath as the Company's Vice President of Operations, effective November 1. Mr. McGrath brings extensive operations experience to Micron, including a long career in orthopedic implant and medical device manufacturing. He has led operations for leading medical device manufacturers, including ConforMIS, Inc., Tornier, Inc., and Smith and Nephew, Inc.



Mr. McGrath was most recently the Sr. Director of Operations for ConforMIS, Inc., where he was responsible for all manufacturing and supply chain operations, including in-house manufacturing, sterilization, sub-contracted manufacturing, materials management and facility activities. He also developed and executed all elements of the strategic and tactical manufacturing planning for ConforMIS.
