Oppo has officially revealed the Oppo N3 smartphone with a 16MP F2.2 swivel camera that is actually motorized, meaning the movable camera can rotate at 206 degrees without the need to move it manually by hand. Touchscreen gestures and a rear fingerprint scanner are used to flip the camera. If that's not enough, a Bluetooth remote called the O-Click is also included in the package that lets you trigger the camera and control camera movements. The image sensor is the standard 1/2.3' type and a high-quality Schneider Kreuznach-certified lens is used in the movable optical module bordered by stitched leather. Due to the swivel nature of the camera, you can bet the N3 can take panoramas easily up to 64MP resolutions, without the need of moving the smartphone. Oppo introduces a photography package in the N3 called the Ultra Image 2.0 that includes manual control, slow shutter mode, an ultra-macro mode and shooting in RAW format, something usually professional cameras do. Also, the camera is capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps, 1080p at 60fps and super slow motion 720p videos at 120 frame-rates. Moving on, the display is a 5.5-inch 1080p with 400ppi brightness. The brains are the Snapdragon 801 processor, which still gives a great performance kick along with 2GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat comes out of the box with a mix of the Color OS 2.0.
