Argentina's Arsat-1 satellite reaches geostationary orbit [New Vision (Uganda)](New Vision (Uganda) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Argentine satellite Arsat-1 has reached its geostationary orbit, Telam reports. The aicraft is now is controlled from the Benavidez land station, in northern Buenos Aires province. The Arsat-1 was launched by French company Arianespace on 16 October.
