Company Founder and CEO Chirag Bakshi to Present on New Technologies Used to Establish Identity and Authenticate Consumers to Reduce Fraud and Better Enable Secure Mobile Commerce SAN JOSE, Calif. — Oct. 29, 2014 — Zumigo Corporation, a leader in mobile device location and identity verification, today announced that Founder and CEO Chirag Bakshi has been selected to present at the Money 20/20 Conference 2014, being held in Las Vegas from Nov. 2 – 5. Also at the event, Zumigo will demonstrate in its Booth Number 1305 new functionalities available from its Zumigo Assure Radius™ mobile location technology to help reduce fraud losses, enhance the customer buying experience, and improve the bottom line of financial institutions.



Mr. Bakshi will present in a panel session titled “Mobile Identity & Security.” The session will take place on Nov. 4 from 5:10 pm PDT to 5:55 pm PDT in Juniper 4, Level 3 of the Aria Resort and Casino.

During the session, Mr. Bakshi will discuss new technologies that use unique identifiers associated with consumer mobile phones – including location, data from mobile carriers, and more – to establish identity and authenticate consumers, helping to remove a significant barrier to mobile commerce. These new technologies are reducing fraud, enabling secure mobile commerce, and are ultimately revolutionizing retail by building a new mobile commerce ecosystem based on authentication, apps and APIs.


About Chirag Bakshi, CEO of Zumigo Mr. Bakshi is the founder of Zumigo, a veteran of the mobile industry and Silicon Valley, and previously Vice President and General Manager of the VeriSign Mobile Messaging business. Mr. Bakshi joined VeriSign through their acquisition of Unimobile, where he was COO and a Founder. While there he helped the company build a world-class scalable and robust wireless platform driving significant revenue for mobile operators and enterprises. Chirag also served as a General Manager at EFI where he established the very successful Network Graphics Server Business Unit; as Director at Apple for its LaserWriter line of products; and in Engineering at Rolm Corporation developing distributed PBX switch software. Additionally, Mr. Bakshi has served on the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) Board and Wireless Internet Caucus (WIC) Leadership Council. He earned his B-Tech degree from IIT Bombay, and M.S. degrees from Stanford and the University of Michigan. He holds several patents in software and mobile technologies.
