INDIA, CHINA BOOST PC SALES 8% IN JUL-SEP 2014: IDC(Indian Business Insight Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Asia Pacific Region (excluding Japan) recorded eight percent growth in personal computer (PC) sales to 26.6 million units in Jul-Sep 2014 over Apr-Jun 2014 driven by higher sales in India and China, as per IDC report. According to IDC, Lenovo retained its top slot with a market share of 27.4 percent. Dell is ranked second with 11.1 percent share, followed by Hewlett Packard at 10.1 percent and ASUS and Acer at 7.7 percent share each. |
