IDSync® Announces Certification & Immediate Release of Active Directory Connector APS 2 Solution for Parallels® Automation

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Perrysburg, Ohio (PRWEB) October 29, 2014 IDSync® Releases New Certified Aps 2 Package For Immediate Availability In addition to support of Hosted Exchange, SharePoint and Lync, the new IDSync® package has been improved to include support for all APS 2-based software products that conform to APS 2 standard. This means that user identity and computer information can be synchronized between Active Directory and any software product on the APS 2 service bus to further streamline service provider operations and enhance the software features of those products.

IDSync® is an identity management platform tightly integrated to Microsoft Active Directory that provides application level user security, password synchronization, and access management within the standard AD Users and Computers management console for both on-premise and cloud based systems including Parallels Automation.

"We are excited to have IDSync® release their APS 2-enabled solution," said Scott Fallon, Vice President, Parallels Service Provider Marketing. "They have been working closely with our APS engineering team on the design and updated feature set, which enables service providers to offer integrated identity and service management for hybrid cloud services to SMBs." Simplify Identity Management IDSync® extends the standard Active Directory property pages to provide centralized management for a user's credentials, meta-data, and application configuration information in a single location that drives the provisioning and synchronization process. This is accomplished by inserting application management links to Parallels Automation platform via the IDSync® Active Directory Connector directly within the user's Active Directory, making it easy to manage user provisioning from a single security database.

Inject Service Provider Brand Directly Within Active Directory With Identity Syncronizerâ„¢, the service provider can extend their brand presence inside the customer's AD control panel by having a fully branded tab, complete with logo, for each of their product offerings which leverage the customer's Active Directory environment.

"We love the features of IDSync®," said Mike Lamb, Director of Market Development for Apptix, a Parallels Automation partner. "It has been very easy for our staff to learn and deploy the service into the customer environment and simple for our customers to use it to provide the Microsoft hosted services we deliver via the Parallels Automation platform." Maximize Service Revenue IDSync® reduces the on-boarding complexity and the costs associated with the initial provisioning for new clients and the on-going costs and effort required to maintain and support accurate application, password and personal information. IDSync® updates Parallels users in real-time and seamlessly integrates the standard Active Directory features with the Parallels Automation platform, including support for Windows Security Groups, Contacts and Distribution Lists.

Add New Clients Quickly "Service providers need to add new clients to their business management platform as quickly as possible to maximize their cloud service revenues" said Marty Rini, InnerApps Chief Operating Officer. "Our goal is to deliver on the promise of Active Directory so that it can truly become a single source of identity information for both Cloud and On-premise applications. With the IDSync® Active Directory Connector for Parallels Automation, service providers can minimize the administrative time and effort needed to engage their SMB customers, making it easier for them to work with their end-users both during the on-boarding process and when they perform regular daily update and maintenance functions."
