Global VoIP Telecommunications Provider BandTel to Purchase MCCT Matrix IVR Technology in November 2014 Acquisition. In this transaction, BandTel is to acquire all assets of the Matrix product line, as well as its current customer base. The sale is a logical acquisition for BandTel as the Matrix IVR services compliment what BandTel currently offers to its customer base in the area of VoIP telecommunications and SIP-Trunking services. Products such as Business-Connect™, a managed phone system bundled in with the handsets and services, can expand to include even more features than in the past. The sale brings the leading global VoIP Provider an edge over its competition. The acquisition of the Matrix IVR product line opens new doors to future products and services within BandTel. Effective Nov. 1, 2014, BandTel, LLC will assume all operations associated with MCCT, Inc's Matrix IVR product line. Clients can expect to receive ongoing customer support in the same manner they received prior to the acquisition. They will also assume the tasks of ongoing software updates and modifications as well as production and engineering of the Matrix platforms. The Matrix IVR Platform is an all-inclusive Application Generator system, with capacity to handle up to 960 inbound (or outbound) ports, a GUI Windows Plan Editor, built-in Text-to-Speech prompt conversion and more. The Matrix platform uses RedHat Linux, as the operating system of choice and applications (Plans) are structured on the robust MySQL database. Matrix is feature rich with the ability to convert text to speech (TTS) for voice prompts & other messages; Continuous Word Speech Recognition; Conferencing with GUI interfaces for administrators & operators; Fax broadcast & Fax-on-Demand and Unified MATRIX IVR Applications are wide ranging and rich.
