China Unicom Q1-Q3 Net Up 25.8%(Sinocast Telecommunications Beat (China) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BEIJING, October 24, SinoCast -- China Unicom (Hong Kong) Ltd. (NYSE: CHU, SEHK: 0762, and SHSE: 600050) revealed operating revenue of CNY 219.229 billion in the first three quarters, narrowing 3.27% from a year earlier. Net profit attributable to shareholders reached CNY 3.5 billion, hiking 25.8%. Basic EPS were CNY 0.1651. Prime operating revenue from mobile service was CNY 121.32 billion, mobile users reached 297.07 million, ARPU for mobile service hit CNY 45.5 and prime operating revenue from fixed line network CNY 68.19 billion. Ended September 30, mobile users had been 297.07 million, increasing 544,000 in September.
