Baruch College's Marketing Department Co-Hosts Speaker Series 'From Wearables to Shareables: Creating Consumer Connections'

Aaronson Department of Marketing and International Business at Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business, in partnership with Interbrand and ReadySetRocket, will present a panel discussion on November 5 exploring new opportunities for brands to create connections with consumers in the digital age.



Interactions/connections between people impact the digital space and brands are tapping into shared data to influence ways to reach consumers. With the advent of wearable technology, these connections are now often times augmented.

Speakers in the field of education as well as entrepreneurs in media, marketing and technology will discuss and forecast the ways brands can gather valuable information by adopting groundbreaking technology, and better understand and deepen relationships with consumers and today's top trailblazers. The discussion will be around three themes: * Measuring consumer emotional responses (happiness) through wearable technology * Creating consumer connections with technology and shared data * Innovation Report: Brands Doing it Right, Consumer Experience Done Right Panelists include: Jim Fields, Vice President, Customer Experience, SAP; Robert Genovese, Vice President, Integrated Marketing, Kenneth Cole; Nikki Nash, Director of Digital Marketing, Rest Devices; Sam Olstein, Global Director of Innovation, GE; Colin Vernon, Director of Cloud and Platform, LittleBit, among others.
