MTN Upgrades Zambian Mobile Banking To Accommodate Growing Market [Ventures Africa]


(Ventures Africa Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) VENTURES AFRICA – Multinational mobile telecommunications company MTN Group has started upgrading its MTN Mobile Money services in Zambia to accommodate the new customers flooding into the country’s growing mobile banking market.

The fact that it does not rely on brick-and-mortar banking but on MTN network availability means it is the most effective way to reach all corners of the nation," Jere added The South African mobile operator first introduced mobile banking services in Zambia in 2012.
