Parks Associates: Reported Home Control System Ownership Among Broadband Households at 11% in Spain, 9% in the U.K., 5% in Germany(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) DALLAS, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 10/22/14 -- New Parks Associates research reports early growth of the Internet of Things (IoT) in Europe, where 11% of Spanish, 9% of U.K., and 5% of German broadband households report ownership of a home control system. A majority of broadband households in all three countries are interested in smart home systems, including 54% in Germany, 56% in the U.K., and 62% in Spain who are interested in a smart home safety system.
