Incognito Software Systems Unveils Latest Auto Configuration Server at Broadband World Forum to Improve Subscriber QoE for Broadband Providers [Emirates News Agency (WAM) (United Arab Emirates)]

(Emirates News Agency (WAM) (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Incognito Software Systems, a global provider of broadband device provisioning, IP address management, bandwidth monitoring, and service activation solutions, will be announcing the availability of Auto Configuration Server 3.0 at Stand #A30 during this year's Broadband World Forum, held from October 21-23, 2014, in Amsterdam. In addition to a sleek new user interface that improves visibility and simplifies management, this updated solution also allows cable, telecom, and wireless operators to consistently deliver exceptional Quality of Experience (QoE). New functionality introduced in this generation of Auto Configuration Server includes KPIs, interactive reporting, orchestrated firmware updates, and more.

"Modern subscribers have high expectations for service and experience quality. They want freedom of device choices, rapid service and device installation, flawless network performance, quick support ticket resolution, and up-to-date devices. Simply put, they want everything to just work," said Stephane Bourque, president and CEO of Incognito Software Systems. "With Auto Configuration Server, providers can remotely manage multiple devices, roll out new services with ease, proactively monitor their networks to resolve potential problems before they occur, and gain visibility into the home network, which helps operators increase both QoE and subscriber loyalty." This announcement comes on the heels of the company's recent acquisition by Volaris Group, an operating group of Toronto-based software and services provider Constellation Software Inc. This partnership allows Incognito Software Systems to expand distribution of its solutions globally and to advance research and development initiatives.

Additional benefits of Incognito Auto Configuration Server 3.0 include: Centralized Management of Remote Subscriber Equipment: Auto Configuration Server helps manage numerous devices, ranging from modems and WiFi gateways to set-top boxes and VoIP phones. Incognito Software Systems even offers a TR-069 Open Interop Program to verify each device's level of TR-069 readiness for compatibility. Network Performance Intelligence: Operators can monitor the leading indicators of potential issues through a KPI module that collects and presents specific metrics based on organizational objectives. With this real-time, on-demand data, operators can flag and correct potential issues before subscribers are affected. Open and Distributed Architecture: An open application programming interface (API) allows service providers to easily integrate with legacy BSS/OSS systems and accelerate deployment of new devices. Regardless of whether Auto Configuration Server is deployed on-premises or in the cloud, the solution's distributed architecture maximizes uptime while easily scaling to support millions of devices without needing more servers. "Without visibility into subscriber home networks, service providers are forced to rely on field installs and customer service teams to provision, activate, and support devices, which results in higher costs, less satisfied customers, and slower time-to-market," Bourque continued. "Auto Configuration Server helps significantly improve QoE by simplifying device management from cradle to grave." Incognito Auto Configuration Server 3.0 will be available for purchase in November 2014.
