Malaysia : U MOBILE launches trade-in promotion [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Malaysian mobile operator U Mobile has announced launch of a trade-in promotion. With this promotion, U Mobile customers will be able to swap their old mobile devices for rebates on a wide selection of new smartphones and tablets, also to include the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8, Sony Xperia Z2 and Huawei Ascend P7. In association with Blancco, U Mobile has introduced a data protection service through its trade-in promotion. Through this data erasure service, U Mobile customers private data will be removed when they trade in their phones. Under this promotion, customers will get rebates of around MYR 1,110 off when the trade in their used Android or iOS phones. The U Mobile trade-in promotion would run through 31 December.
