Modernizing Medicine Showcases EMA Gastroenterology at ACG 2014

Modernizing Medicine, Inc., the creator of the Electronic Medical Assistant® (EMA (News - Alert)™), a cloud-based, specialty-specific electronic medical record (EMR) system, will be showcasing its newly launched EMA Gastroenterology™ system at this year's American College of Gastroenterology Annual Scientific Meeting (ACG 2014) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. EMA Gastroenterology was first introduced to the gastroenterology field in May 2014 at Digestive Disease Week in Chicago.

The first of its kind, EMA Gastroenterology was developed by gastroenterologists for gastroenterologists and is a template- and macro-free system. EMA Gastroenterology contains built-in specialty-specific medical knowledge and i available as a native iPad application and can be accessed via the Internet virtually anywhere and at any time. The flexible format, combined with EMA Gastroenterology's touch-screen interface and automated ICD-10 capabilities, gives providers the freedom they need to efficiently run their practices and the comfort of knowing that charting, coding and billing can be completed before physicians leave the exam room.
