ZTE PON Shipment Up 35% in 2014 Q2(Sinocast Telecommunications Beat (China) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) SHENZHEN, October 16, SinoCast -- OVUM released Market Share Report 2Q14 FTTx, DSL, and CMTS for the second quarter, revealing PON shipment of 4.885 million lines for ZTE, ranking global number two, rising 35.3% from a quarter earlier, thanks to robust expansion in Asia Pacific, Latin America and Europe. EPON shipment of the company reached 3.042 million lines, taking a market share of 36.3%, ranking global number one. PON OLT shipment surpassed 15.26 million lines, hiking 35% from a quarter ago.
