Aside from the Nexus 6, Google has also today unveiled the Nexus 9, their new-sized tablet which features an almost 9-inch display. While the search engine giant employs Motorola to create the new Nexus flagship phone, they opted for HTC to work on the Nexus 9. The Nexus 9 joins the Nexus tablet family which is made up of the Nexus 7, Nexus 7 (2013 edition) and Nexus 10 developed by Asus and Samsung respectively. It is designed with a soft grip back and a thinness of 7.9mm to ensure a comfortable handling experience. Incredibly, it weighs at just 425g. Compare that to the iPad Air which has a far smaller display and weighs slightly heavier at 469g. With a minimalist and sleek design coupled with delicate curves, brushed metal sides and a slim bezel, the Nexus 9 doesn't skim on the aesthetics side of things. Being a HTC product, you can be assured of high-quality speakers with the BoomSound speakers lining up at the top and bottom of the device. It comes as no surprise that it will be shipped with the all-new Android 5.0 Lollipop. Priced at a starting USD399 (around RM1,300) it comes in three color options – Lunar White, Indigo Black and "Sand".
