Pluralsight Names Jody Bailey as its First Vice President of Engineering


SALT LAKE CITY --(Business Wire)--

Pluralsight, a global leader in online training for technology professionals, today announced the appointment of Jody Bailey as vice president of engineering, a new position within the company. In this position, Bailey will be charged with growing Pluralsight's development organization and providing leadership as the executive team navigates the company's rapid trajectory.

Bailey brings a wealth of engineering and leadership experience to Pluralsight. During a 26-year career in technology, Bailey has managed the direction of innovative software solutions, process improvements, and new business initiatives. He possesses a strong technical background with expertise in delivery of software solutions, business process engineering and product definition.

Priorto Pluralsight, Bailey was vice president of engineering at AtTask, a project management software company for enterprises. In his role, Bailey scaled the development organization from 22 to 100 engineers and streamlined the company's products into one platform, resulting in record sales. He joined AtTask from Vovici (now Verint (News - Alert)), a voice-of-the-customer company, where he was vice president of development and network operations. Bailey was also director of engineering at Verisign, a global leader in domain names and Internet security, and director of software development at Vastera, a global trade management software company later acquired by JP Morgan (News - Alert) Chase.
