United States : $2.6B deal to fast-track NETSCOUT's entry into Cyber Intelligence market [TendersInfo (India)]


(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Netscout Systems has signed a definitive deal to acquire the Communications business of Danaher Corporation, made up of Tektronix Communications, Arbor Networks, and some parts of Fluke Networks.



The deal will provide, Danaher stakeholders with nearly 62.5 million stock of NetScout common share, which estimates the deal at $2.6 billion, based on NetScout's closing price of $41.91 on 10th October, 2014.

The move will boost NetScout s scale and expand its customer base in both the service provider and business markets.


It will also fast-track the company's entry into the Cyber Intelligence market.

The deal would be closed in the first half of NetScout s financial year 2016.
